As the Sales Development Representative – Camps (VIC), you will be responsible for generating and guiding leads through our sales process to set our Camp Managers up for closing success.

You will drive outbound lead generation, manage inbound and outbound lead nurture, qualifying leads to opportunity stage and working select deals for The Outdoor Education Group’s Victorian camps.

Annual salary: $34K for 0.6 FTE load

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

  • Working as a member of a strategic and operational Brand and New Business team with oversight across sales, marketing, product development and innovation your expertise will enable us to deliver on our purpose more fully.
  • As the Sales Development Representative – Camps (VIC), you will be responsible for generating and guiding leads through our sales process to set our Camp Managers up for closing success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and implement key lead generation and nurture strategies and actions to support the achievement of The Outdoor Education Group’s strategic vision and objectives
  • Manage and achieve lead generation and conversion targets
  • Engage in peer-to-peer training and mentoring to enhance the sales capability of the organisation
  • Monitor, review, enhance and report on sales and lead activity
  • Support an effective lead development and nurture strategy and execute a continuous improvement strategy for lead engagement
  •  Build and maintain effective, mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain a superior understanding of the commercial aspects of The Outdoor Education Group including financial and business performance and any impact from external factors
  • Actively engage with industry, business and the community

KEY CRITERIA

  • A thorough understanding of best practice sales strategies and demonstrable history of achieving revenue targets
  •  A demonstrable history of generating leads and building relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential clients
  • Extensive experience managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects and engaging sales executives for handover
  •  Experience identifying best practices to continually improve the organisation’s lead generation process and playbook
  •  Experience reporting to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • An achievement orientation, a commercial bent and tactical nous
  •  Proficiency in CRM platforms i.e. HubSpot
