You will coordinate our catering pick, pack and ordering activities to supply our Outdoor Programs, supporting the organisation's delivery to clients.

The EFT salary is $52,735.

WHAT YOU DO AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a member of The Outdoor Education Group Catering & Operations Division and a direct report to the Catering Compliance and Quality Manager you:

Take responsibility in the scope of your role for the performance, reputation and growth of The Outdoor Education Group.
Work collaboratively with your colleagues to manage and support day to day activities.
Role model passion for the benefits of outdoor education for the development of young Australians.
Role model The Outdoor Education Group values of respect and taking responsibility for self, others and the natural world.
Support the implementation of key strategies and actions that support the achievement of The Outdoor Education Group’s strategic vision and objectives.
Participate in and support the overall work of The Outdoor Education Group.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Catering Coordinator NSW, you:

Take ownership of and ensure that our food delivery quality and quantity are appropriate to run our programs.
Using national systems and processes, communicate with clients and staff to ensure dietary needs are known and met.
Manage and organise your team, including rostering and performance reviews.
Ensure shrinkage is monitored and managed, with improvements continually sought.
Support national growth and efficiencies.

KEY CRITERIA

To The Outdoor Education Group you bring the following:

Ability to analyse requests and make alternate suggestions in line with the organisation's strategic direction
Ability to work under pressure and within budget
Customer focused with a proven ability to build strong relationships
An effective team player, looking to step up in your career, but still willing to roll up your sleeves to support your team.
Available to work a flexible roster, including travelling interstate quarterly for training and development.
Ideally you have experience and/or qualifications in the management of food operations, team leadership and awareness of good OH&S practises.
